If you’re into a keto lifestyle for staying trim, for mental clarity, or just for the way it makes you feel…
But you struggle get into ketosis (or stay there) - even though you do your best to follow “the plan”…
Then what I’m about to share with you is a gift. It’s a gift because soon you’ll have the power to get in and out of ketosis anytime you like.
And you're Ketone levels will raise in as little as 30 mins, not days or weeks from now.
Not only that but you’ll be able to…
- Eat a little more of the “bad food” at parties
- Easily survive traveling (even if there’s no way you can stay keto.)
- Do a better job of managing your cravings.
And do this while maintaining your ketogentic diet and staying in ketosis. Even if you struggle now!
You see, the latest research shows that if you have trouble staying in ketosis, it’s almost certainly not your fault.
It’s not your fault even if you’re eating things you know you shouldn’t!
Maybe you travel a bunch, and it’s tough to eat perfectly.
Or maybe you just need to have a cup of ice cream occasionally.
Or maybe you eat exactly what you’re supposed to ...
But there’s no sign of ketosis. No “sweet” breath. No purple color on the urine sticks. No heightened mental clarity.
I understand …
It’s Maddening When a Simple Handful of Raspberries Stalls Your Progress or Fogs Your Brain
Of course, you can’t expect to eat the standard American high-carb diet and stay in ketosis.
You know that already.
But if you’re perfect – or anywhere close to it - you shouldn’t be struggling to maintain the lifestyle.
So, if you’ve tried everything and you can’t seem to keep your body in a state of ketosis, it’s disheartening. And it’s worrisome if you’re struggling to lose 10, 20, 50 pounds or more.
Fortunately, if you understand why you struggle to stay in ketosis, it’s easy to fix. As I’ll show you in a moment …
There’s a game-changing “Keto Insurance Plan” that will help you get into ketosis – and stay there – any time you want.
First, though, I’m going to pull back the curtain on what the real problem is.
It’s called …
Yes, some people are naturally resistant to ketosis. This doesn’t mean they can’t get into ketosis. It means that it’s a lot tougher for them than for other people. If you’ve always felt you had to work too hard to get into ketosis … or you do everything just right and you can’t stay in ketosis for any length of time ...
Chances are, you suffer from one or more of the following forms of Keto-Resistance:
- You’re carb sensitive (so even an extra slice of tomato can push you out of fat-burning mode.)
- You’re insulin resistant (even if you’re a healthy weight.)
- You’re not a robot (and so you screw up your macros now and then, even if you know better.)
Here’s why each of these might make you Keto-Resistant, even if you don’t know it…
Keto-Roadblock #1:Why a Cup of Spinach Throws You Out of Ketosis
Generally, keto guidelines recommend you eat 15g to 100g of net carbs a day to stay fat-burning mode. That’s a pretty wide spread.
Here’s a typical keto-style small meal …
4 ounces of shrimp (5g net carbs)
10 cherry tomatoes (4.4g net carbs)
4 ounces plain whole fat yogurt (5.5g net carbs)
14.9 grams net carbs!
If you’re on the lower end of the spectrum, you’re pretty much done your carbs for the day with just this simple meal.
Add in a cup of spinach and you’ve blown it!
Doesn’t that just seem wrong? That a cup of spinach could ruin your fat loss progress?
The real question isn’t: “Why does a cup of spinach throw you out of ketosis.”
Why Can Some People Eat 6.7 times More Carbs Than You and Still Be Deep Nutritional Ketosis?
There are people that can eat much more than that cup of spinach and remain fat adapted.
Chances are, they’re not carb sensitive. And you are.
It may be the luck of the draw. Or it may be something worse, as you’ll see in a moment.
Whatever the reason, it sucks. I mean, it’s one thing to give up cake, cookies, and pasta – it’s another to have to choose between onion and tomato on your salad – both are supposed to be healthy after all.
And if you start cutting things like tomato, how are you supposed to get all your vitamins in?
That’s what my Keto Insurance Plan is for.
It’s a way to sidestep all of that. A way to reset your body so it’s not so sensitive to carbs.
Now I’m not saying you’ll be able to eat pizza and pasta every day. I am saying that you won’t get kicked out of ketosis nearly so easily.
And if you do happen to overindulge in the Standard American Diet (SAD) then you’ll be able to raises Ketone levels in as little as 30 min, not 30 days or even 30 weeks like some people.
But before I get into that, I need you to understand something that’s probably going on in your body right now. It’s closely related to carb sensitivity, but it’s different.
Keto-Roadblock #2: This Affects HALF of All Americans!
More than 1 out of every 2 Americans have a condition that – by its very nature – will kick you right out of ketosis, even if you’re strict about your eating plan. That condition is called insulin resistance.
As you may know, insulin resistance is your body’s inability to properly use insulin to deal with sugar.
But you might not know that insulin resistance is not just limited to overweight people. A lot of thin people have it too – either genetically or because they’ve abused carbs for years and ruined their metabolisms.
Here’s how insulin resistance works …
When you eat carbohydrate, your blood sugar levels go up. Your pancreas responds by producing the insulin needed to keep the blood sugar in check.
But for more than 50% of Americans, it doesn’t work that way.Instead, their insulin must spike far higher than it should to deal with small amounts of sugar.
And it’s that insulin spike that kicks you out of ketosis. You eat a piece of melba toast and bang. You’re out of fat-burning mode for a week.
So, if you have insulin resistance – and chances are a little better than 50/50 that you do – it’s easy to get knocked out of ketosis.
And if you’re not measuring the ketones in your blood, you might not even know it.
Here’s how crazy-easy it is for someone with insulin resistance to get kicked out of ketosis …
A handful of blackberries could do it.
A simple cup of black coffee can do it.
Heck …A Little Extra Chicken or Steak Can Kick You Out of Ketosis Fast!
Just a little too much steak. As you may know, your body will convert excess protein into sugar.
And the sugar itself might not kick you out of ketosis (unless you’re carb sensitive), but the insulin spike will.
To be fair, insulin spikes don’t always take you out of fat-burning mode for weeks at a time.
In fact, a recent study showed that caffeine only knocks you out of ketosis for about 30 minutes.
But the problem is – these things add up. Chances are good you drink coffee at least once a day.
And if you’re not making the progress you want, insulin resistance could be why.No nobody’s saying don’t drink coffee. I’m saying that with my Keto Insurance Plan, you won’t have to worry about stuff like that.
So, how do you know if you have insulin resistance?
There’s no real way to know beyond expensive, elaborate tests.
And as I said before, you can’t go by weight. I mean, if you’re heavy, there’s a good chance you’re insulin resistant.
But even if you’re thin, there’s a good chance you’re insulin resistant too – especially if you struggle with staying in ketosis.
And if you do have insulin resistance, you’ll find this ironic …
One of the best ways to support insulin resistance is a ketogenic lifestyle. Over time it makes your body more sensitive to insulin – which is exactly what you want.
But eventually - once you’re lean and mean - ketosis can have the opposite effect. It starts to sabotage your insulin response again.
So, if you’ve been doing keto for a while and are suddenly finding it tough to stay fat-adapted, that could be why.
Now, whether you’ve been insulin resistant for some time – due to being overweight, or through genetics, or carb abuse …
You could be getting knocked out of ketosis several times a day, even for the smallest things like drinking a cup of coffee or a few too many ounces of steak.
My Keto Insurance Plan I’ve been telling you about can fix that quick.
It’s something you can do in just 60 seconds a day. And what you do in that important 60 seconds will keep your insulin in check for the next 8 hours.
I’m going to share with you exactly what my Keto Insurance Plan is, and how you can use it too, but there’s one more …
Keto-Roadblock #3: Imperfect Willpower
So far, we’ve talked about 2 very specific forms of Keto-Resistance: carb sensitivity and insulin resistance.
Those 2 roadblocks alone cover well over 50% of Americans. But there are a lot of other reasons people have problems staying in ketosis too.
And I lump those reasons together under the heading imperfect willpower.
Others might call them real life.
Things like …
- Frequent travel (sometimes it’s near impossible to find the foods you need on the road in the time you have.)
- Birthday parties and other social events (how often do you hear “Come on – it’s just a piece of cake – live a little.”)
- Struggling to hit your macros. Maybe you don’t like eating all that fat and you eat too much protein instead. As I’ve shown you above, excess protein turns into sugar …
- Cravings (that put you over the top in carbs or even in protein.)
- Having a hard time digesting all the fat (initially your body lacks the enzyme needed to breakdown the fat.)
- The Keto-Flu (nausea, stomach upset, and toilet issues that threaten to push you back to your old way of eating.)
- Cramps, headaches another symptoms of electrolyte imbalance (these can tempt us out of keto-approved foods.)
I mean, come on. You’ve got to be a robot to not let any of that affect you.
And if you struggle with any of them, hearing “Suck it up” is not particularly helpful.
After all, the average woman gives up after just five weeks, two days, and forty-three minutes.
So how can anyone be expected to go months or years eating this way, relying on willpower alone?
The thing is, some people can cheat a little, and get away with it. Others, like me, get knocked out of ketosis for even looking at a bowl of raspberries.
And so, it's tough to maintain a healthy weight. You get brain fog. You’re tired all the time …
Just because you’re carb sensitive. Or you’re insulin resistant. Or you don’t have the willpower of a robot.
If you’re plagued with any of these 3 things, you’re Keto-Resistant.
And it’s not your fault.
So how do you overcome these roadblocks?
With the Keto Insurance Plan that I’ve been telling you about.60 seconds a day is all it takes. And it puts you squarely in control. You can be in ketosis anytime you want.
Even if you drink a pile of coffee … even if you indulge in some sugary sweets … even if you eat second helpings of steak.
To get why my Keto Insurance Plan works though, you need to also understand …
What are exogenous ketones?
When you’re in ketosis, your liver produce ketones. Those are called endogenous ketones – produced in the body. And it can take you days, weeks, or months to start producing them reliably.
Exogenous ketones are different. They’re produced outside the body. They’re extracted from foods like eggs and milk and they’re turned into salt.
When you add these exogenous ketone salts to water and drink them, you can get into a state of ketosis in just minutes – even if you’ve got a pile of carbohydrate floating around in your system.
That’s why the Navy wanted to get their hands on them
All of this happened back in 2014.
And since then, a few companies have brought exogenous ketone products to the market. So you dont have to be a Researcher to get them.
But as I’ll show you in a moment, these exogenous ketones are missing something critical. And by themselves, they’re NOT the Keto Insurance Plan I’ve been telling you about. Although they’re part of the plan.
They are great news, however. Especially if you love being keto but struggle to stay fat adapted. In fact, with exogenous ketones available to us …
Now You Don’t Have to Eat Perfectly to Stay Perfectly Keto
If you’re carb sensitive, insulin resistant, or just don’t want to eat like a monk for the rest of your life, you’re going to love exogenous ketones.
They’re exactly like the ketones your liver produces to get you in ketosis.
Only they’re already made. You don’t have to sit around and wait. And because they’re already produced, a few raspberries can’t throw you off.
As handy as they are, they’re just like the ketones you produce yourself.
Drinking exogenous ketones …
- Increases Ketones level
- Suppresses appetite (so you won’t overeat protein or carbs and spike your sugar.)
- Reduces cravings (so you can stick to the plan more easily.)
- Increases focus and stamina (so you can get more work and exercise done, with greater intensity.)
But unlike your body’s own ketones, exogenous ketones go to work fast.
In fact, take a look at this peer-reviewed study published in Nutrition and Metabolism …
